The Freedom Fighter

The following mini report represents a summarised version your Signature Personality. It is one of eight life aspects contained in the Authentic Self Profile Tool. The profile tool has three major categories. Firstly your innate talents which the Signature Personally forms part of. Secondly your life purpose and thirdly the major behavioural challenges you will need to master to realise your potential.
Your Signature Personality is your dominant way of responding to the world. Expressing this is key to unlocking your power and potential. Your Signature Personality is akin to signing your signature on everything you do. It is the way you leave your biggest mark on the world every day. Without its positive daily expression it will be difficult to realise your full potential.
The Freedom Fighter is an idealist with a strong humanitarian streak. You seek to aid and protect those less fortunate than yourself. Equality, freedom and justice are important to you and you have a tendency to fight for these.
When The Freedom Fighter sits in your Signature Personality you will have a deep desire to restore justice and equality in the world. Make sure you are always looking to advance a good cause rather than oppose a perceived wrong in the world. You want to leave your mark or signature on the world in a way that unites people and not divides them. Mother Teresa summed it up best when she said she would march for peace but not against war. Choose a cause that people can positively move towards and you will definitely leave a lasting mark and impact on the world.
You are capable of expressing love at the highest level. When this is expressed as unconditional love you will do your best work. However be careful not to get swept up in fighting for equality and justice. This will only keep you trapped and unhappy. Your true goal is to empower others through the power of unconditional love.
The definition of unconditional love is the ability to see the world in a positive and non-judgemental way. When you see the best in others you bring out the best in them as well as yourself. It is like looking through life with a magnified glass. The more you focus on the positive aspects of others the greater those aspects become. This is how you free people from inequality and injustice. When you enable others to love and believe in themselves you empower them to look after themselves. Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach them how to fish and they feed themselves for life.
The Freedom Fighter is happiest when they are empowering others in to free themselves from injustice, tyranny, and inequality. They make excellent teachers but not necessarily traditional ones.
The major fear of The Freedom Fighter is believing you are not loveable. You fear being rejected and unloved. This causes you to seek love and approval outside yourself in the form of other people. As a result you hand over your personal power to others in order to receive their love and approval.
Handing over your power involves doing things which don’t make you truly happy. You trade your needs and desires so that others will like you. The cost of which is your own happiness. This is because your own true needs and desires remain unfulfilled. You will also have a tendency feel resentful towards those people you are allowing to suppress you.
It may be wise to ask yourself. ‘Am I seeking love and approval in my personal and professional relationships'? 'If so how am I handing over my personal power?’ ‘What behaviours and actions am I exhibiting?’ ’What effect is this having on my personal and professional life?' You may also want to identify the key people in your life you are handing over your power to.
The Freedom Fighter tends to attract people who treat them unfairly. This is because they have a habit of handing over their personal power. This issue of being unfairly treated is what drives them to fight for freedom, fairness and justice for others.
Can you see the vicious cycle that is created when you look outside yourself for the solution? There is no freedom to fight for. The real problem lies not outside you but within you. By learning to unconditionally love the world, you learn to unconditionally love yourself. Healing your mind and hence the world of unfairness, injustice and tyranny.
When you do this you will stop attracting people who treat you unfairly. Finally you can be at peace and make a difference to not only your life but to the lives of others. You no longer need to fear expressing who you are. For you are now free from seeking approval. The world holds no fears only love.
